We should legalise throwing stones at big screens programmed by someone not there in the square at the time. They can be fantastic, the England Paraguay World Cup match was one of the most vibrant and exciting events I have ever been to, one of the few events in which Bradford was unconsciously and genuinely multicultural. There was none of the trouble there was elsewhere. It was so successful in fact …. that for the next England match they had to turn the big screen off and show the game in a stadium!

This is the first commissioning project I have ever done when all the writers have delivered on time. Ok the pieces are shorter, but the time table was shorter too, a little over three weeks.
